2007 brought us to our 150th Anniversary. God has been so faithful over the past 150 years.
- 1857, A group of German immigrants founded St. Paul Lutheran Church on the corner of Benton and Jackson in Aurora, IL.
- 1865, St. Paul Lutheran School was started.
- 1970's, The changing neighborhood around the church stymied growth and the church investigated ways to address the needs of the surrounding community and the continuation of the church's ministry.
- Late 1980's, A new vision was cast: a multi-site ministry whose purpose was to carry on the current ministry on the east side, the birth of a Lutheran Hispanic mission congregation, and the start of a second location to meet growing needs for ministry on the west side of Aurora.
- November 1994, Sanctuary at 85 S. Constitution Dr. was dedicated. Family Life Center and Education Wing were completed in April 2001.
- September 2005, St. Paul birthed Iglesia Luterana San Pablo and sold the Benton property to this new church.
- 2007, Celebrated 150 years of God's faithfulness and lovingkindness
