At St. Paul, our mission statement is to "make disciples who make disciples." We want our youth to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior by learning more about the Bible and the Confessions of the
Lutheran Church Missouri Synod. It is not just head knowledge... The faith that was given at our Baptism is for every day: in the family, at school and with friends. Jesus is Lord of our whole life and we seek to serve Him in all we do.
Students will choose a personal Confirmation Scripture verse prior to Lent and confess their faith publicly, including their verse, during a Lenten worship service. Each confirmand will also be examined before members of the St. Paul Board of Education prior to being confirmed.
Check out the proposed changes to Confirmation for the Fall of 2008. Watch for more information about opportunities to give your input.
