Welcome to the Music Department of St. Paul Lutheran Church and School. With musicians participating in a variety of ensembles in our church, there is always something going on. We invite you to become a part of our music ministry by joining one or more of our many musical ensembles or technical teams.
- Vocal Choirs
- The Church Choir brings men and women together to sing for selected weekend and festival services all year long. The choir is open to anyone, high school age or older, with a desire to sing and praise the Lord and have a good time doing it. We are currently at 40 members and looking to grow! The choir rehearses Monday evenings at 7:00 p.m.
- The Men's Choir welcomes men to sing for selected services throughout the year. This group practices "as needed" for special services
- Instrumental Ensembles
- The Brass Choir involves 8th grade students through adults playing trumpets, french horns, trombones, baritones and tubas. The ensemble plays sacred brass music and accompanies hymns at special services throughout the year. This group practics "as needed" for special services.
- We welcome an musician who would like to assist the music program by singing or playing a wind, string, or keyboard instrument. Perhaps you haven't played since high school, but would like to get back into form. There is always a chair waiting for you.
- Praise Band/Singers
- The Praise Band and Singers meet Thursday evenings to rehearse music for the 10:45 Sunday Contemporary Service. The ensemble often includes: piano; keyboard; acoustic, electric and bass guitar; drums; violin; trombone; saxaphone and singers. Auditions are necessary to be in this ensemble.
- Technical Arts Ministry
- No service can run smoothly without the help of audio and screen technicians. If this is a special interest of yours and would like to help out in the ministry, please stop by the sound booth or contact Mark Schoepp.
