Pastoral Care Team
Bringing the Love of Christ to the Sick, the Suffering, and the Homebound
The Pastoral Care Team at Saint Paul’s Anglican Church extends the compassion of Christ beyond the walls of the church building to those in need of comfort, prayer, and encouragement. Whether it’s visiting the elderly, bringing Communion to the homebound, or walking alongside someone in a difficult season, our care team shares in the pastoral mission of the Church.
This ministry ensures that no member of the body is forgotten or left alone, especially in times of illness, crisis, or grief. We care for both body and soul—with listening ears, prayerful hearts, and the presence of God’s people.
What We Do
- Home & Hospital Visits – For the sick, recovering, or elderly
- Prayer & Encouragement – Offering comfort and Scripture in times of distress
- Companionship – Especially for widows, shut-ins, and those without nearby family
- Coordination with Clergy – Ensuring sacramental and pastoral needs are met
- Meal Trains & Support – When appropriate, helping to organize care for families in need
“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.”
— Galatians 6:2 (KJV)
