Choir & Music Ministry
Lifting Hearts to Heaven Through Sacred Song
The Choir & Music Ministry at Saint Paul’s Anglican Church leads the congregation in worship through psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs. Rooted in the rich musical tradition of the Church, our ministry seeks to glorify God and edify His people through beautiful, theologically-rich music.
We believe music is not entertainment, but a vital part of the Church’s liturgy—an offering of praise and prayer. Our choir assists in chanting the Psalms, singing anthems and responses, and supporting congregational singing each Sunday and on feast days.
What We Sing
- Psalms – Sung responsively or in Anglican chant
- Classic Hymns – Drawn from the Hymnal 1940 and traditional sources
- Anthems & Choral Works – Featuring composers from Tallis to Vaughan Williams
- Service Music – Kyrie, Gloria, Sanctus, and other liturgical responses
Who Can Join?
The choir is open to youth and adults who love to sing and desire to serve the church in worship. Some musical experience is helpful, but not required. Rehearsals are held weekly, and members are expected to participate regularly in Sunday worship.
“Sing unto the Lord, O ye saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.”
— Psalm 30:4 (KJV)
