How We Worship at Saint Paul’s Anglican Church
Word & Sacrament
Worship at Saint Paul’s follows the pattern of Word and Sacrament, grounded in the historic Book of Common Prayer (1928) and the 2019 ACNA Lectionary. Our service includes Scripture reading, creeds, confession, psalms, preaching, and the Holy Eucharist—anchoring us in the Anglican tradition of ordered, reverent, and gospel-centered worship.
Ancient & Accessible
Our liturgy is rooted in ancient Christian practice, yet accessible to those new to the Anglican way. Whether you’re from a liturgical background or exploring the faith, our worship invites full participation through congregational responses, choral music, and shared prayer.
Music & Participation
At Saint Paul’s, music is not performance—it is participation. We blend historic Anglican hymns, metrical psalms, and the occasional contemporary setting, led by our choir and organist. The congregation joins in song as a shared expression of praise and devotion.
The Seasons of the Church Year
Our worship is shaped by the Christian calendar, guiding us through Advent, Christmas, Epiphany, Lent, Holy Week, Easter, and Pentecost. This rhythm forms us over time in the life of Christ and unites us with the broader Church across time and place.
Children & Families in Worship
We welcome children in the sanctuary and encourage families to worship together. A children’s catechesis class is offered before the service at 9:30 AM, helping young minds understand and engage with the Christian faith.
Communion at Saint Paul’s
All baptized Christians who repent of their sins and trust in Jesus Christ are welcome to receive the Holy Communion. If you are not yet baptized or not receiving at this time, you are invited to come forward for a blessing.
