October brings a full few weeks to the life of Saint Paul’s. We have a Hawaiian dinner and Evensong, the first of our Monthly Men’s Breakfasts, and the 119th Synod of the Diocese of Mid-America. The details for each are below.
Hawaiian Dinner & Evensong — October 7, 2026
On Wednesday, October 7, 2026, join us at Saint Paul’s for a Hawaiian-themed dinner followed by Evensong.
- 6:00 PM Dinner
- 7:00 PM Evensong
Please have your dishes set out by 6:10 PM so we can say grace and eat together, which leaves time for fellowship before Evensong begins. Come share a meal, and then close the day with the Church’s evening prayer.
Men’s Breakfast — October 10, 2026
Gentlemen, our first Monthly Men’s Breakfast is set for Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 9:00 AM. We’ll cook a traditional American breakfast on the Blackstone: bacon, hash browns, eggs, and pancakes.
Order of the Morning
- 9:00 AM Breakfast and fellowship
- 9:30 AM Morning Prayer
- 9:50 AM Testimony of Faith from a member of the parish (15 minutes)
- 10:10 AM Intercessions, Thanksgivings, the Prayer of St. John Chrysostom, the Doxology, and the Grace
- Afterward Cleanup and departure
Diocesan Synod — October 14–16, 2026
The 119th Synod of the Diocese of Mid-America meets October 14–16, 2026, at the Cathedral Church of the Holy Communion in Dallas, Texas.
Please pray for our bishops, clergy, delegates, and diocesan leaders as they prepare to gather.
