Every Age Offers Its Own Circumcision (Galatians 6:11–18)

What if the credentials, institutions, and approval we trust to keep us safe are a modern form of circumcision? A sermon on Galatians 6:11–18 and the marks of Christ St. Paul bore in his body.

About This Sermon

In Galatians 6:11–18, St. Paul closes his letter in his own scrawled hand and sets two marks side by side: the mark of circumcision the false teachers wanted cut into Gentile flesh, and the marks of Christ already branded into his own body through suffering.
