About This Sermon

St. Paul tells the Galatian Church that the flesh produces slaves—what we today call “bugmen”—men ruled by appetite, anger, and a thousand petty tyrants. The Holy Spirit, by contrast, produces fruit: a self-governed, fruitful, apostolic people.
